1)Question: Will standard HDMI cable work with 1.4 equipment?
Answer: HDMI 1.4 is backward compatible with all prior versions. However, to take advantage of the newest features you may need specific types of cables. To utilize the ethernet connection, you will need cables that are labeled, "with" ethernet. To take advantage of extended resolutions like 4K x2K and 3d support, we recommend cables that are "High Speed."

2)Question: Does this standard HDMI cable support 3D?
Answer: Yes it will, the longer Standard Speed HDMI cables use the same high-speed cabling as our 25ft product and they have been tested to provide proper support for 3D even though they are advertised as standard speed cables.

However we recommend using High Speed cables for 3D.
